Outlet PDX is a vibrant experimental space that connects the digital to the physical through the art of Risograph printing, zine-making, and self-publishing. Located in Portland’s Kerns neighborhood, Outlet PDX provides access to specialized Risograph duplication equipment, a comprehensive zine library, button-making machines, and a suite of binding and finishing tools to accommodate projects ranging from small-scale stickers to full-edition books. Whether through their remote printing services or their brick-and-mortar retail shop, Outlet fosters a collaborative environment for realizing "print dreams" and acts as a hub for the Portland creative community.
This Field Trip is inspired by the forthcoming edition of the Unfold, , our first multimedia publication and related events, to explore how design practice is a revolutionary force.
