About this Event
In this 8-week course, participants ages 55+ will have the opportunity to use their imagination to play explorer and archaeologist around the museum, uncovering the ways that civilization, arts, culture, habitat, and animals have all co-existed together. Using observational drawing techniques, participants will create a bound field guide based on things that fascinate and captivate them from around the museum. Building on the idea of observation, participants will focus on one particular subject of interest, and use this item as inspiration to create a small relief sculpture, learning the process of mold making.
Participants should plan to attend the workshop every Monday from March 2nd through April 20th. This course is sponsored by a Wyoming Arts Council Creative Aging Grant.
