Field of Games

In honor of health and fitness, The Dominican Professional Association (DPA) and La Union DC present "Field of Games," an event that aims to serve as a charity cause for a back-to-school drive for children in the District of Columbia.

This event aims to challenge participants in four different game situations that consist of collaboration, strength, strategy, and communication. Participants will be able to sign up individually and will be put in a team with other participants to achieve the ultimate goal of successfully completing four games against the other team.

The games include: - Pass the Rock - Capture the Flag - Tug of War - Chase the Bacon All proceeds will go towards a back-to-school drive in collaboration with a community center in DC. We encourage participants to also have the option of bringing any school materials or donations if they like.

Prices: Early bird tickets: $10 General: $12 Day of event: $15

Participants Will Need: 1. Comfortable tennis shoes. 2. Light, comfortable clothes. 3. Water bottle. Rules:

1. Participants can select the cause (team) they wish to represent on a first-come, first-served basis. If a cause reaches its capacity, remaining participants will be assigned to the team with the fewest members.

2. Participants must arrive on time for the event. If unable to attend, they must notify either DPA or La Union DC at least 24 hours in advance.

3. All participants must adhere to the rules of the games and respect the decisions made by officials.

4. Participants are expected to demonstrate respect and collaboration during the games, as this event promotes community building and prioritizes safety.

Official Sponsors: Uniting Roots will serve as the official sponsors of this year's charity event by providing equipment and officiating of the games.

Nip Juices House will serve as the main nutrition provider of this year's charity event with their own refreshing and nutritious packed juices, açaí bowls, and smoothies.

Join us as we play, compete, and enjoy outdoor activities for an amazing cause for children to receive school supplies this upcoming fall, to start the school year on a high note.

The Field of Games aims to build community and network through this outdoor experience of games that will serve as a way to give back to the community. Members will receive a token of participation at the conclusion of the game, among many more surprises.
