Field Notes on Forgiveness is a workshop combining clinical expertise with compassionate support for loss moms during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. As loss moms, we often wrestle with forgiving ourselves, others, and even God. The well-meaning advice to “just let it go” can feel impossible when our hearts are shattered. In this workshop, we’ll explore what forgiveness really is (and what it isn’t), uncover common myths we’ve believed, and learn practical steps toward forgiveness that honor both our grief and our healing. Each ticket includes coffee, light snacks, connection with other loss moms, and clinical expertise from a licensed mental health professional.

Mary Kathryn Nader, Ph.D., LPC-S, PMH-C
Hope Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC
Dr. Nader is passionate about walking with women through grief toward hope and healing. A licensed professional counselor with certification in Perinatal Mental Health, she has supported grieving children and adults in nonprofit, church, hospital, and private practice settings. In addition to counseling, Mary Kathryn leads trainings & retreats on grief, loss, communication, boundaries, and self-care. She brings a Christian perspective with a relationship-based, strengths-focused approach to her work, offering both compassion and clinical expertise. Designed for miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss survivors at any point in their journey, this workshop provides compassionate support, hope, and practical steps toward healing. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, this workshop is for you.

We welcome loss moms and the women who support them. Each guest must register in advance. This is an adult-only event and childcare is not provided.
