A COMMUNITY EFFORT WE CAN BE PROUD OF Our complex is a place our kids spend countless hours learning, growing, and building confidence — and it deserves to look as good as the community behind it. With a little teamwork, we can bring these fields back to life and create a space we’re all proud to call home. Whether you’re pulling weeds, painting dugouts, flipping burgers, or simply showing up with a smile, your help truly makes a difference. Thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your heart to this program. Together, we’re building something special for our players and our town.
🧹 COMPLEX CLEAN-UP TASKS
• Picking Up Trash
Help keep our complex clean by collecting trash around the fields, dugouts, walkways, and parking areas.
• Pulling Weeds (Under Benches & Walkways, & Along Fences)
Tackle weeds in high‑traffic areas to keep the complex looking sharp, safe, and welcoming.
• Raking Pine Needles
Clear pine needles from walkways, fence lines, and common areas to improve safety and appearance.
Priority: the areas along the west fence.
• Field Raking & Prep
Rake infield dirt, clean dugouts, level low spots & bases, and help get the fields game‑ready for the season.
• Hauling Trash — Haul‑Out Crew
Move full bags to the dumpster and help remove larger debris from the complex.
• Freshening Up Paint (Dugouts & Concession Stand)
Help brighten up the complex by repainting dugouts and concession areas.
Bring brushes, rollers, trays, or any extra painting supplies if you have them — every bit helps.
• Hanging Sponsorship Banners
WHAT TO BRING
If you have them, bring rakes, wheelbarrows, W**d‑pulling tools, and extra trash bags to help us cover more ground. And if you’re able to bring a truck or trailer, it’s a huge help for hauling debris and getting everything off-site.
⚾ BASEBALL GEAR SWAP — Give Gear, Get Gear, Help Our Players!
We’re hosting a Baseball Gear Swap during clean up days to help families save money, reduce waste, and make sure every kid shows up to the season with the equipment they need. If your player has outgrown cleats, gloves, bats, pants, or bags, this is the perfect chance to pass them on — and pick up something that fits now.
Bring what you can. Take what you need. Everyone wins.
🧢 What You Can Bring
Gently used:
• Cleats
• Gloves & mitts
• Bats
• Helmets
• Bat bags
• Pants, belts, socks
• Catcher’s gear
• Training equipment (tees, nets, wiffle balls)
If you don’t have gear to donate, you’re still welcome to come and grab what your player needs.
How You Can Help
We’d love a few extra hands to keep things running smoothly:
• Sorting gear by size and type
• Checking items for safety (no cracked helmets or dented bats)
• Helping kids get fitted for the right glove, bat, or cleats
• Setting up or cleaning up the tables
• Spreading the word by sharing this event
Even 20–30 minutes of help makes a huge difference.
🍔 FEEDING, HELPING, & WELCOMING VOLUNTEERS
• Feeding Volunteers
We’ll be grilling hot dogs and burgers out of the concession stand as a thank‑you to everyone pitching in.
Help set up, serve, and restock food and drinks for our volunteer crew.
If you’d like to donate food, drinks, or supplies, or help with serving, we’d love the support.
• Welcome Table
Greet families as they arrive, answer questions, and help direct volunteers to the right tasks.
Assist with check‑in and make sure everyone feels welcomed and appreciated.
