We welcome The Blues Movement for their first night with us, we hope you can make it.About the band:
Bringing a blend of styles and great creative minds together doesn't always work out well, but that's not the case with The Blues Movement.
The Blues Movement are a group of musicians and friends, brought together by a mutual love of performing and a desire make music that gets people moving. Their wealth of experience gives their music a standout sound, with a blues rock soul that gets you grooving from the first bar. From playing world famous venues such as Camden's Fiddler's Elbow to full blown theatres, they never fail to give their all and grow their fanbase with every performance.
Johnny Muzz founded the group, bringing his skill as a multi-instrumentalist and inherent creative ability to write songs that make you want to hear them again and again. His bass lines form a key part of the drive in every song, providing a rhythm to get you on your feet.
Andy 'Blackberry' Blackie has a passion for guitar and he let's that flow with every performance. He has worked with Johnny Muzz for a number of years, helping develop and refine the sound the band produces.
Rob 'Uncle Bobz' Hudson brings a fire to the show delivering some hard hitting riffs, and soul shaking solos. He loves to make music and never holds back when the music takes him. Having played alongside Andy in several projects gives them an almost preternatural ability to know where to take their music next.
Squiggs Squires brings his rhythmic abilities to the drums. Honed over a career playing in many top clubs and international venues, his skills give the band that missing link to capture the audience and get them moving.
Kris Watson rounds out the group bringing a soulful voice and passionate performance style developed over decades of blues gigs. He helps bring the life to Muzz's lyrics and adds an extra layer with a unique delivery.
Their first single 'Nobody bothers me' is available now on all streaming platforms and they are working hard to bring their debut album to their eager fans.
