About this Event
The Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI), which is affiliated to Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI), will host its flagship annual conference ‘International Banking: Looking forward after a year of elections’ from 09:00 – 13.00 on Wednesday 20th November in The College Green Hotel (formerly Westin Hotel), Dublin 2.
Key speakers on the day will include José Manuel Campa, Chairperson, European Banking Authority; Fernando Vicario, FIBI Chair & Chief Executive Officer, Bank of America Europe DAC and Country Executive for Ireland; Vasileios Madouros, Deputy Governor, Monetary and Financial Stability, Central Bank of Ireland; Martin Merlin, Director, Financial Markets, DG FISMA, European Commission; Fiona Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer, Wells Fargo Bank International and Virginie Saade, Head of Government and Regulatory Policy for Europe, Citadel Securities.
2024 was billed as the year of elections with almost half the world’s population going to the polls. As we come towards the end of the year with a new EU Commission being established with a refreshed mandate, join us as we discuss the updated geopolitical landscape and the evolving regulatory climate, and assess the impact on international banks operating in Ireland.
Over a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions and fireside chats, our expert line up of speakers and panellists will explore what is at the front of C-suite minds, address EU competitiveness in a global market, the economic outlook following a year of elections and an in-depth discussion on the regulatory horizon.
Early bird ticket options for members and non-members are available until 18th October.
