FFGC District V – UF Short Course in Horticulture May 31 – June 2, 2026 • Gainesville, Florida
🌿The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs District V, in partnership with UF IFAS, offers the 88th Annual UF Short Course, a premier horticultural program drawing participants from across the state. This highly-rated inspiring event will be held at the UF Straughn Center.
🌎The theme, “Tools for Tomorrow,” focuses on identifying emerging environmental challenges and exploring innovative, research-based solutions. Attendees will enjoy exclusive tours and expert presentations by UF faculty and regional plant specialists. 2 lunches and a continental breakfast are included.
💐Sunday’s Welcome Reception is hosted by the Gainesville Garden Club from 3-5 pm. Monday night’s optional Floral Design Dinner is also hosted at the clubhouse (separate fee).
