Join us for this one-of-a-kind cultural experience!
Immerse yourself in the beauty, rhythm, and deep connections of culture during this special three-day event, featuring Master Haitian Dance, Drum, and Song classes led by the incomparable Mami Raymond, Djwento, Laurie Fleurentine, and David Durosier. Additionally, we will have special guest performers including: Singing the Bones and Destiny the Harpist from the Hood.
The weekend will open with a free event on Halloween, All Hallows Eve with an Ancestral song and dance circle to live drums on the first day, and culminate with a powerful Ancestor Remembrance Performance on the final evening. ELWAH Dance and Research, under the direction of Dr. Colette Eloi, will be presenting an exclusive work-in-progress showing from her upcoming full-length production, premiering in Fall 2026. The culminating Nov. 2, 2025 event is also Free, however, donations are accepted.
