About this Event
This past year has been filled with highs and lows (understatement?!). So in good, time-honoured fashion: Time With Nice People is back.
We’re glad to be hosting it at Brass Monkey, by Victoria Station from 5.30pm on Thursday 28th November. There will be a modest bar tab for free drinks for the first 50 people or so (thanks to a generous anonymous friend of Time With Nice People).
Is this your first rodeo / Time With Nice People? It’s simple: it’s a welcoming space full of nice people working in social and economic justice, international development, humanitarian response and human rights. The hope is that if we all link arms we stand the best chance at working towards a better 2025, together.
The rules are simple:
There isn’t an agenda, hidden or otherwise, on the evening or in the invite list. Please do feel free to bring any colleagues or friends working for social change. There’s not a limit on the kind of organisation people work for or level they are at. If they are doing something (anything!) to make things better they’re very welcome.
Do feel free to come on your own, this is a nice mix of people working to make life better not a terrible networking thing you can fail at or where anyone will look over your shoulder.
If you see someone on their own, consider going over and introducing yourself—we all look out for each other. If you come alone and don’t know where to start, introduce yourself to Katherine, Alex or Iona – they will almost certainly be in Christmas jumpers.
Hope to see you there,
Katherine Nightingale, Alex Farrow & Iona Lawrence
