Pyree Hall stands on the traditional lands of the Yuin People. The hall has been a focal point of local social activity since 1895, and is fully utilised for a range of functions. The Butter Factory is an excellent local restaurant, and there are a club and pub in nearby Greenwell Point, as well as oysters from the local oyster farms. And if you’re looking for a really fun fact about this place, Cold Chisel once used the hall for rehearsing a new album!
Festival of Small Halls returns to Pyree on Saturday, 18 April, 2026 with Tullara (AUS) and Joe H Henry (CAN).
