Come and join Slow Food Edinburgh at this exquisite fermentation session where we will explore the benefits of fermentation for people and the planet.We will offer some delicious fermented foods and drink for you to try.
You will hear from two Slow Food supporters:
- Award winning Chef Kaori, proprietor of Harajuku Kitchen. She will share some of her personal stories growing up with delicious Japanese fermented pickles, right there from the East.
- Vivian Maeda, fully qualified naturopath nutritionist, with a Masters in Gastronomy. She is a passionate food educator and will explain the health benefits of fermented foods. She will also bring a fermented snack from the West and possibly a fermented drink too.
As you can see an afternoon packed with goodness!
