He also has a book titled "Difficult Times, Delicate Songs." In addition to his singing career, he has been politically active. Due to numerous lawsuits and prison sentences for his thoughts and expressions, he had to leave Turkey, where he had lived for a long time, seeking freedom of thought and expression.
