About this Event
Felipe de Algeciras Compañía Flamenca. Legends from the glory days of the Peña Flamenca de Londres gather together again for our huge festive flamenco show.
Felipe de Algeciras started his dance career with the prestigious flamenco troupe Soleá, working at festivals across Andalucía. He first performed in London in the 1990s, appearing on the stage of many West End theatres. His incredible footwork can be heard on the soundtrack of the hit film, The Mask of Zorro. For a number of years Felipe ran the Costa Dorada flamenco nightclub on Hanway Street in London before returning to Spain a decade ago to run his own flamenco dance school. Felipe went viral on social media earlier this year when Hollywood actor Will Smith joined Felipe on stage for an impromptu sevillanas dance routine.
