The Feedback Lab invites artists of many different disciplines and levels to connect, explore, and share information ideas and processes in a relaxed non-judgemental environment.
Lead by Carol Bisset, the Feedback Lab provides a safe place in which to share fresh perspectives on your own and other artists work. Throughout the year there will be a select group of guest speakers who will introduce us to their unique journeys as practising artists.
"I’m really pleased to hear the Feedback Lab might be returning.
What made it different for me was the intentional focus on constructive dialogue. It created a space where artists could share work and receive considered feedback from fresh perspectives. That process encouraged deeper reflection and brought valuable analytical insight into my own practice. I especially appreciated the opportunity to connect with other artists in Tauranga Moana in a meaningful way; not just socially, but through critical and creative exchange.
Carol is an outstanding facilitator. She creates a respectful, responsive environment where people feel safe to speak honestly. Her ability to guide discussion while allowing space for diverse viewpoints is a real strength.
Grassroots, inclusive initiatives like this are vital for sustaining a healthy and connected arts community. They make critical conversation accessible and strengthen relationships within the local creative sector. "
