About this Event
Everyone talks about the equinox like it's all about balance. Equal light, equal dark, find your center, blah blah blah.
Here's what we're actually celebrating: the light is winning again.
The days are getting longer. The earth is waking up. Something in you is ready to grow — and you don't need more "balance" to do it. You need momentum.
In this special equinox breathwork session, we're honoring the shift. We'll use breath, movement, and intention to shed what kept you small this winter and step fully into the energy of new growth. Think of it as a full-body spring cleaning for your nervous system.
This is not about finding equilibrium. It's about leaning into what's alive in you and letting it take up space.
What to expect:
- A guided somatic breathwork journey designed around the energy of the equinox
- Intentional movement to wake up your body after winter
- Space to set intentions for this next season of your life
- A room full of people ready to grow alongside you
Come ready to let go of what's dead weight and feed what's ready to bloom.
No experience necessary, come as you are.
What to Expect: Somatic shaking, conscious breathwork, shifting into movement
All levels welcome—no experience needed.
Yoga mats (or comfy chairs) are provided.
What to Bring: You don't need to bring anything except yourself, however, the following items might make your experience more comfortable:
- A blanket
- A bolster or extra yoga mat to get extra cozy
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing
- Open mind and heart
- A journal for reflection
- Chapstick
We don't recommend eating a large meal 2 hours before we start, it might cause nausea
What's the parking situation?
You can park in the front lot in front of the building and come through the front door (next to the big garage door). There is also a gravel lot attached to that front lot where people have been parking for free with no issue for quite some time, if all of those spots are taken, and there is no street parking, you can park at Bearded Iris at 101 Van Buren St. and walk through the back door (right next to the Bearded Iris door)
When you walk through the front door of the building, make a hard left and you’ll see a brick wall. Walk through the opening of the brick wall and the double doors to within is right there!
If you come in the back door through Bearded Iris patio, you’ll walk down the curvy hall make your first right, take that all the way down and make a left, then you’ll see a brick wall with an opening take a right and the double doors to within is right there!
