Ever wanted to make a plain rib cuff more exciting? Well this is the workshop for you!Facilitated by the wonderful Aleks Byrd, in this workshop you will learn to blend ribbing with entrelac for a faux entrelac cuff or hem! Cleverly combining decreases, increases and colour changes, you'll create a slanting faux rib entrelac pattern that is ridiculously easy to knit but looks super impressive. We will work slants to the left and right in the round as well as stacking both slanting directions for working flat or a small section in the round.
New to entrelac? Entrelac is a great knitting technique that creates a textured, woven-looking fabric. It's made up of small squares or rectangles that appear to interlock. Kind of like a basketweave pattern. It looks super impressive, but the finished product looks harder than it is! Especially with Aleks' guidance!
