Father's Day Music Festival 2023

Allow us to introduce you to the Father's Day Music Festival 2023, a must-attend black-tie event for music lovers in Las Vegas, Nevada. This festival features talented tribute artists from all over the world, performing classic hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. The show stars some of the biggest names in the industry, including Paris Red, winner of the BMA Award for Best Female Jazz Vocalist in Las Vegas in 2007 and 2008, and the Entertainer of the Year Award in 2008.

Starring...

Bobby Rose, one of the members of the Rose Brothers, is a singer who gained recognition for his work in the late '80s. Along with his brothers Greg, Larry, and Kenny, Bobby recorded a number of singles and LPs for Malaco's Muscle Shoals Sound subsidiary label in the vintage Southern soul style, earning a reputation for their gritty and authentic sound. While their success was regional, the Rose Brothers' music was well received by fans of the genre, and their debut single "I Get Off On You" reached #28 on the R&B charts in 1986. Bobby Rose's vocal abilities shine through in the band's performances, making him a standout in the show where he stars alongside Paris Red, Gregory Laster, and Gene Poo Poo Man Anderson.

Paris Red an impressive resume, having appeared on numerous recordings, television specials, soundtrack albums, and even a starring role on the hit daytime soap opera Santa Barbara. She has performed on stage with some of the world's most celebrated people, including Michael Bolton, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, and Ronnie Laws. Her debut album, Promises, generated four top ten dance hits throughout Europe and America, including the number one USA dance single Good Friend. Paris went on to share six more number one dance singles with some of Europe's top artists. Paris also has credits as an R&B singer in the hit Cirque Du Soleil musical Zoomanity from 2008-2020. Now, Paris Red has come full circle to explore her artistry of Jazz, R&B, Country, and Rock & Roll.

Also starring in the show is Gregory Laster, the performer of the Las Vegas show SOLID GOLD SOUL. Backed by a six-piece band and four dancers, Solid Gold Soul takes audiences on a "soul-rific" journey back in time. Greg Laster channels James Brown with the godfather of soul's greatest hits, including "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," "I Got You (I Feel Good)," and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."

Gene 'Poo Poo Man' Anderson is another talented artist featured in the show. Gene was performing on the former Charlotte Peters Show and St. Louis Hop television shows at age 12 and cut his own 45's, “The Gigolo Man”, and “The Loneliest One” in his early teens. He has performed with giants such as The Temptations, Junior Walker, The Capitols, and at The Apollo Theatre. Gene was even nominated for a Grammy Award for a song that he wrote "Love In The Food Stamp Line" for Albert King. Gene is a well-respected veteran ex-member of Parliament/Funkadelic who chose to pursue a largely unknown solo career in which he combines traditionally black genres with various electronic elements.

Finally, the show will also feature the Salvadorian Orchestra & elegant Jazz dancers hosted by and starring Frankie Munoz. This Black-tie event with catered dinner is sure to be an extravaganza out of this world, opening on June 17th, 2023, at the SunCoast Casino in the Grand Ballroom at 5:00 PM.
