About this Event
Join us for an evening of culture, cuisine, and collective visioning as we honor Black August and the legacy of resilience through a farm-to-table feast and food-justice conversation.
You’ll experience:
- Live Music – Soulful jazz to set the tone
- Black-Owned Spirits, Beers, & Wines– Signature cocktails & pours from Black vintners and distillers
- Farm-to-Table Dinner – A multi-course menu showcasing produce and livestock from local Black farmers
- Community Conversation – A moderated food-justice town hall with leaders in grocery access, agricultural education, and Pr*son food justice
All food and drink will be sourced from Black-owned farms, chefs, and beverage producers. This is a fundraiser to support ongoing food-sovereignty initiatives—including a Black-led grocery store, agricultural education programming, and Pr*son food-justice advocacy.
