This year, Farley Music Festival has a first - an off-shoot of the Festival in Salisbury Medieval Hall, situated in the Cathedral Close. There will be three piano recital concerts during the day, at 11:30, 14:30 and 18:00, each lasting an hour, priced at £10 per concert (free for students), and tickets will be available from the second week of August via the Farley Music Festival website, or the 'find tickets' buttons on the events pages below, for each concert. Whereas the All Saints' Church Festival showcases established and internationally well known musicians, the Medieval Hall concerts are to enable a platform for emerging talents. Each performer has been chosen for the prowess on the piano by our music director Nicholas Walker; details are below in each event.
Car parking within The Close is not usually a viable option, but there is plenty of parking within a short walk in Crane Street, the Central Car Park or others. There are many restaurants, pubs and cafes within a short walk of the cathedral, so why not make a day of it and explore the many attractions of this beautiful, cathedral city.
