The YMCA of South Boston/Halifax County is pleased to host the Farewell to Summer 5K, presented by our top sponsor, Huber Engineered Woods.With a starting line at the Y and crossing the finish line on our newly renovated outdoor track, this 5K is open to runners and walkers and will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 5.
Registration is $20/person and includes a t-shirt with registration.
The 5K After Party will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the field next to the Y, and will include 5K finisher recognitions, a Tiny Tots track race, food vendors, music, and more!
All race proceeds support our 2024 Annual Giving Campaign, which helps provide membership opportunities and programs for residents in our community.
