The Shire of Pavlok Gorod cordially invites you to our twenty-third Fantastic Fairytale Fete! This year’s theme is Period Cosplay. Best attempt at a medieval costume for your favorite fairytale character. Whether you are enchanted by fantastic dragons or courageous knights, please bring your favorite tale to share.
Set up: 9AM
Rapier: Armor inspection will be at 9:30 AM and fighting will commence at 10 AM.
A&S Class: "Period Potluck Contributions for Slackers" taught by Her Highness Clare.
Please bring your Arts and Sciences project or peruse the A&S chest to find a new project.
Feast: Feast is potluck. Event steward will bring the main dish. Please bring your favorite Medieval/Renaissance food to share, along with the written ingredients. All contributions that are fairytale themed can be added to the Fantastic Fairytale Foods competition.
**Please be aware: NO shellfish or orange on site due to severe allergies. Thank you!
Arts and Sciences Competitions:
- Storytelling Competition: Bring your favorite fairytale, myth, or legend. Each entry will be scored on Presentation, Quality, and Creativity.
- Wreath of Athena: Fiber Arts. Documentation is encouraged but not required. Competition is open to everyone. Contact the event steward to arrange to transport your entry if you are unable to attend.
Bardic will be held after the feast.
Fantastic Fairytale Foods: "Serve it forth!" Your best interpretation of a fairytale food. Please note whether it is edible or decorative. If edible, please include an ingredients list and it can be added to the feast.
There will be a silent auction to offset the costs of events. Donations for the auction are greatly appreciated. We deeply appreciate everyone lending their time, talent, and financial support. Please contact event Steward with any questions.
Lodging for off-island cousins: Limited lodging, local transportation, and hospitality will be joyfully provided to off island guests in the homes of our populace. Please contact the seneschal, Sonia Clary at [email protected] as soon as possible with your travel plans. We will meet up at Noodles for dinner after the event. All are welcome.

Directions:
From the Benny Benson Kodiak State Airport turn right onto Rezanof Dr. for 5.8 miles. Turn slightly left onto Lower Mill Bay Rd. at the Y intersection for 350 feet. Turn left onto Thorsheim St. for .3 miles. The destination will be on the left at the corner of Thorsheim and Oak.
