Help us open up our overnight moth trap and see who is hiding inside. Make your own moth mask before heading off on a short guided walk of the reserve to see which moths you can find. BOOKING ESSENTIAL via Eventbrite only.
Suitable for 6+, all childen must be accmpanied by an adult (Free ticket). Please book a ticket for all members of your party.
Please dress for the weather. Wellies advisable as the reserve can get very wet.
Event runs 10.00 a.m. - 12.00p.m.

Access to Lorton Meadow events is via Lorton Lane, approximately half a mile to the Conservation Centre and carpark. Please be aware of pedestrians and cyclists and keep to the 10 mph speed limit. Thank You
Free parking is available on site.

If coming by public transport the number 10 bus runs regularly between Weymouth and Dorchester with the nearest bus stop at Nottington Lane. If travelling from Dorchester nearest stop is Broadwey Methodist Church. It is then approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the centre via Dorchester Rd then Lorton Lane.
If coming by train the nearest station is at Upwey followed by approximately 20 minute walk via Dorchester Rd then Lorton Lane.

DWT reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. In the event of DWT cancelling an event, a full refund will be issued.
DWT reserves the right to reschedule events in the event of unfavourable conditions and offer alternative dates or issue a full refund.
Cancelling your booking
Cancellations are accepted at the discretion of Dorset Wildlife Trust and a reasonable cancellation cause should be provided by the participant.
You may request a cancellation up to 3 days before the date of the course or workshop. You may be charged an administration fee.
