Family Mediation Course - 3 Saturdays
Course meets the requirements for a court appointed mediator pursuant to the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code 154.052(b).
Are you interested in learning how to mediate family disputes effectively? Join us for this online course where you will gain valuable skills in conflict resolution and communication. Our experienced instructor will guide you through various scenarios and provide practical strategies for mediating conflicts within family systems.
This intensive virtual program provides you with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills, and techniques used to assist parties with divergent positions or interests work towards a dispute resolution they can live with moving forward. Through extensive practice simulations, you will be both the mediator and a party to a dispute, developing skills can help mediate a conflict within a family system.
Participants in the simulations are observed and coached by an instructor who is a Certified Advanced Practitioner with the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, an Advanced Distinguished Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, and an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
