Red Riding Hood returns! With the beautiful sound of the cello, kids will create a new story of Red Riding Hood, embarking on a new adventure with her while listening to great classics by Schumann, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Saint-Saëns.
Bekhzod Oblayorov
Cello
Born in Uzbekistan, Bekhzod Oblayorov began his studies in Tashkent with Kamola Abdullaeva and later continued under Ng Pei Sian and Leslie Tan at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. He has attended masterclasses with world-renowned musicians and performed across Central and Southeast Asia in prestigious venues, including the Esplanade Concert Hall and Cambodia Royal Palace.
Oblayorov won First Prize in the 2017 Ilyos Ibrogimov National Cello Competition in Uzbekistan and has participated in international competitions and festivals. He also has a passion for jazz, performing at the International UNESCO Jazz Festival in Uzbekistan from 2015 to 2019. Bekhzod currently performs on a 1810 J. Hammig cello from Germany.
