Come join multi-award winning comedian and science communicator Donal Vaughan as he showcases his fun, family science show at the Embassy of Ireland in Berlin.
Donal Vaughan, who also holds a BSc in Zoology, puts on an engaging and interactive live show for children, which combines the fun of magic with the fascinating principles of science. Vaughan’s shows encourage critical thinking and creativity while introducing various scientific experiments using every day household items, and is suitable for children, educators and students. By blending live entertainment with education, Vaughan’s Science Magic shows dismantle ideas that science is confined to school lessons and textbooks and instead fosters a fun learning atmosphere.
The show is suitable for children from age 5 and up.
Later in the afternoon, Donal will turn storyteller as he leads the audience in an interactive story of adventure. The story is shaped by audience suggestions regarding the treasure they seek and the nature of their enemies, with the outcomes of their actions determined by the roll of a dice. That’s enough moving parts to cause some chaos, which Donal embraces and renders hugely entertaining with enough quick wit to get laughs out of the kids and the adults in equal measure.
