Event Description:

For kids aged 3-10 years old, come enjoy a colouring and educational workshop on own fossil discoveries. Author and leading paleontologist Steve Brusatte will guide young dinosaur enthusiasts in exploring through art what T. rex, Brontosaurus, and other dinosaurs actually looked like using his wife Anne Brusatte’s children’s book Dugie the Dinosaur. 2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the first time a dinosaur was named, but today the most exciting discoveries are from China, including skeletons covered in feathers that prove birds evolved from dinosaurs. In this special interactive event for children and families, learn about the latest in dinosaur research from paleontologist Steve Brusatte, author of the bestselling The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs and consultant for the film Jurassic World: Dominion.
