Field trips aren’t just for kids! Make the Frye your family’s weekend destination for creativity and discovery.Enjoy a lively retelling of a beloved children’s book, then create art with loved ones using materials designed to spark tactile play and wonder. This session features the classic picture book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr.
Drawing from the story and current Frye exhibition Priscilla Dobler Dzul: Water Carries the Stories of Our Stars, youth and caregivers will create vibrant collages exploring storytelling through shape, texture, and color.
The art activity is tailored to support the developmental strengths of children ages 2–10, but participants of all ages are welcome to join in the fun!
This program is free, but registration is required. Space is limited—sign up today!
