About this Event
Join us for a truly special parent & child cooking class led by Adrian Oomer of Loco Dos, a remarkable 10-year-old whose love of cooking has become a powerful way to give back to the Cape Cod community.
Adrian founded Loco Dos, a pop-up restaurant dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness in 2023. He was recognized for his impact in the community with the 2025 Outstanding Philanthropist Award from Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands. In this hands-on class, Adrian will share both his passion for cooking and his joy in helping others as he guides participants step-by-step through making his delicious chicken teriyaki meatballs.
Adrian will be assisted by his family along with Chef Linda from KAM Appliances, creating a fun environment perfect for young cooks and their grown-ups. Participants will cook together, learn practical kitchen skills, and enjoy an inspiring experience that shows how food can bring people together and make a difference.
Registration is limited to 8 parent/child pairs to keep the class interactive and engaging. A limited number of single tickets for an additional child may be purchased as an add-on. All profits from sales will be given to Loco Dos to support the Homeless Prevention Council.
Come cook, connect, and be inspired by a young chef who proves that big hearts can come in small packages.
