About this Event

Where Our Patterns Begin

In psychology we often learn that our families are the breeding ground of our belief systems. Long before we make conscious choices about who we want to be, the foundations of our thinking, reactions, and expectations of life are already being shaped within the family we grow up in.

And yet, most of us want very simple things from life.

  • To earn well.
  • To have meaningful relationships.
  • To provide for the people we love.
  • To travel, experience the world, and enjoy moments of lightness and fun.

But somehow, these simple desires can become complicated.

Life brings illness, emotional upheaval, and unexpected challenges. We find ourselves triggered by the people closest to us. We react in ways we later regret. We struggle to move forward in our careers or relationships. Loneliness appears even when we are surrounded by others. We work hard but still feel like we canโ€™t quite break through certain invisible ceilings. And time seems to move faster than we do, leaving us wondering why we are not where we hoped to be.

What if some of these struggles were not only about you?

What if many of the patterns in our lives are connected to the family systems we come from?

Each of us carries within us a living field of information shaped by those who came before us. This includes our parents, grandparents, and ancestors. Within that field are stories of both hardship and strength, unresolved traumas, but also resilience, courage, and wisdom.

Family Constellations is a way of gently entering this field.

Through this work, we begin to see the hidden dynamics that influence our lives. We learn to release burdens that may not belong to us, and reconnect with the deeper support that exists within our lineage.

Family Constellations is not something that can only be explained.

Instead it is something that must be experienced.

And when it is experienced, it often reveals something quietly profound: that we are far more connected to our family systems than we realiseโ€ฆ and that healing those connections can open new possibilities for how we live our lives.

About This Workshop

To help uncover and release these patterns, here is a workshop worth considering.

๐Ÿ“… Dates: 2, 3 & 4 April
โฐ Time: 10:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM

This workshop is open to both complete beginners and those who have already experienced Family Constellations. Over three days, we will explore the foundations of this work and the insights developed by Bert Hellinger, the founder of Family Constellations.

Together we will explore the core dynamics within the family system, beginning with the influence of the mother and father, and expanding outward into the broader generational field. We will look at how family trauma, loyalties, and unresolved experiences can travel across generations and quietly shape our lives.

We will also spend time exploring the shadow (the hidden or disowned parts of ourselves that often develop as a response to family and social expectations). When these parts remain unseen, they can influence our behaviour, relationships, and sense of self.

Throughout the workshop we will work with key emotional themes such as shame, belonging, money, and personal resources, allowing participants to better understand the patterns that may be holding them back.

Each day will be divided into three segments, combining short theoretical introductions with practical experiential group processes.

Family Constellations is a living process that involves representation, movement, and shared participation. Together we will work with what is present in the moment, allowing insight, resolution, and healing to emerge within the group field.

Agenda

๐Ÿ•‘: 10:00 AM - 12:30 AM
Understanding the Ancestral Field

Info: The morning introduces the foundations of Family Constellations and Bert Hellingerโ€™s work, including the Orders of Love, belonging and exclusion, and how trauma can move across generations.

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM
The Mother Wound

Info: In the afternoon, we explore the mother field and the influence of early attachment. We look at how maternal lineage can carry both nourishment and unresolved grief.

๐Ÿ•‘: 03:30 PM - 06:00 PM
Shame & The Shadow

Info: The day closes with an introduction to shame and the shadow, helping us understand how hidden loyalties and disowned parts of ourselves are formed within family systems. Day One brings clarity.
We begin to see what we are carrying and why.

๐Ÿ•‘: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
The Father Wound

Info: The second day moves into the places where connection, safety, or love were interrupted within the system. We begin with the father field, exploring how authority, ambition, direction, and our relationship with success are often shaped through the paternal line.

๐Ÿ•‘: 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM
Working with Split Parts (Inner Children and Lost Parts)

Info: In the afternoon we work with split parts and survival adaptations, including inner child dynamics and the protective identities that form in response to trauma.

๐Ÿ•‘: 03:30 PM - 06:00 PM
Building Resources

Info: We then begin building resources by reconnecting with ancestral strength and stabilising the nervous system so that new movement becomes possible.

Day Two brings repair.
Instead of fighting our coping mechanisms, we begin integrating them.

๐Ÿ•‘: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Family Secrets & Collective Trauma

Info: Every family carries stories that were never spoken about. In this session we explore how excluded family members, hidden events, and unresolved traumas can continue to influence later generations. By bringing these dynamics into awareness, we begin to separate what belongs to us from what belongs to the wider family story.

๐Ÿ•‘: 12:30 PM - 03:30 PM
Money & The Family System

Info: Our relationship with money is often shaped by the family system we come from. Beliefs about scarcity, sacrifice, success, and worthiness can travel through generations and quietly influence how we earn, spend, and value ourselves. This session explores how inherited patterns around money can be seen and gently shifted.

๐Ÿ•‘: 03:30 PM - 06:00 PM
Restoring Your Place in the System

Info: When the natural order within a family system is restored, life often begins to flow more easily. In this final session we explore belonging, boundaries, and mature love, allowing participants to reconnect with their rightful place in the system and move forward with greater clarity and strength.
