Family Art Night: DIY Bug BoxesOur expert instructor will guide you through the steps of assembling and decorating your own reusable bug catching box. Learn the essentials of safe insect catching and explore the amazing world of insects! We’ll take our bug boxes outside and have a chance to use them right away as we search for Garden insects.
Join us for a memorable Family Art Night where all ages come together to unleash their creativity! Each month, introduces a new project and explores a new art form. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event promises fun and artistic exploration for everyone.
Audience Target: This event is perfect for families looking to spend quality time together while engaging in a creative activity. All ages are welcome, and no prior artistic experience is necessary.
Fees: $50 per family, $40 for members. Includes 2 complete projects. $20 to purchase an extra project with a purchase of at least 1 family registration.
Fee Includes:
* All the supplies for each family to create 2 Bug Boxes
* Guided instruction from an experienced teacher
* Light refreshments and snacks
* A unique “Mocktail” to enjoy while creating your art. Beer and wine may be purchased in the Gift Shop for adults ages 21+.
* Admission to the Garden’s Thursday night hours.
