Fall Equinox Mother’s Circle

Join us for an intimate mother’s circle on the eve of the Fall Equinox to ponder where we’re being asked to let go, surrender, and accept in motherhood and in life. 

Led by matrescence doula, Kate Seaton of The Motherlines, this community mother’s circle will be kept to 12 women to allow each participant space to share and connect deeply with the group. 

We’ll gather over tea and together begin to shift into the energy of fall, being led through a reflection on our current stage of motherhood and what it’s presenting, showing us, and asking of us in this season, leaving with new clarity, peace of mind, and community support as we lean into surrender and letting go.

Come with a friend or with the intention of making a new one who celebrates motherhood as a catalyst for personal and spiritual growth. 

This is an adults-only event designed to offer mothers space, nourishment, and connection. We look forward to meeting your babies and children another time.

Kate Seaton is the matrescence doula behind the motherhood support practice The Motherlines and a mother of two who educates and empowers women on their journey to and through motherhood. Her work centers on matrescence — the self-transformational journey women experience as they become mothers — and offers ways to process, celebrate, and feel supported through motherhood, including mother’s groups, 1:1 sessions, and birth story processing. Kate is a certified Birth Story Listener by the School of Birth Story Medicine, a facilitator of mother’s circles, and a passionate advocate of anti-patriarchal motherhood and womanhood. www.themotherlines.com

Preparation:

You may bring a meditation cushion or backjack so that you are comfortable seated on the floor. You may also bring a journal and pen. Arrive early and get settled in so that we can begin on time.

The Luminae space is located at 264 Arlington Ave in Berkeley/Kensington. Our entrance is at the porch on the left side of the beige building.
