Driven by a dynamic rhythm section and infused with high-energy horn lines, Washington DC-based band Apt Men brings new life to classic songs from across the funk, rock, soul and pop genres. The group got its start at a Madam’s Organ Open Mic Night in early 2023, and has since gained a following from playing house shows in the DMV and New York City. Each member brings a diverse musical background and taste, blending jazz, punk, soul, gospel, and more into an unforgettable sound.

You Fool! began in basements in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Their blend of pulsing indie rock and dreamy, ethereal post-rock is so silky smooth you could sleep on it if you wanted to. But, you know what they say about sleeping on good music: don’t. Their sound has been compared to the likes of 90’s alternative legends The Cranberries, and modern indie rock darlings Alvvays and Japanese Breakfast. Their debut album, “What is the Meaning of This?”, arrives in August 2024.
