A Night to Prepare, Reflect, and Reconnect
As Ramadan approaches, many of us feel a quiet pressure to 'get ourselves together.' To show up calmer, clearer and more spiritual than we feel right now.
But what if preparation doesn’t start with improvement?
What if it starts with honesty?
This gathering is for anyone who has been carrying parts of themselves in silence. Parts shaped by shame, self-criticism, or things that feel hard to explain. Parts you’ve learned to keep hidden - even from Allah.
During this session, we’ll gently return to the body through movement and yoga, so we’re not trying to process everything from the mind alone. We’ll remember Allah through dhikr, and we’ll spend time journaling and reflecting on where we truly are as we approach Ramadan.
There’s space here to say:
“This is who I am right now.”
“This is what I’ve been holding.”
“This is what I’m learning to soften towards.”
Allah reminds us that He is light - not just around us, but for us. He already knows every part of us, including the parts we avoid looking at. This space is an invitation to stop hiding and allow that light in.
You don’t need to arrive fixed.
You don’t need to arrive strong.
You don’t need to arrive with answers
Just arrive.
💫 What to Expect?
Somatic Movement & Grounding
Move with intention as we release tension through fluid movements. We’ll transition into deep stretches on the floor, guiding the body into a state of relaxation while staying connected to our breath.
Guided Reflection & Tea
Ramadan is a time of reflection, so we’ll take a moment to pause and prepare. With a warm cup of mint tea, we’ll sit in a circle and explore intentional prompts designed to help us step into Ramadan with clarity and purpose:
Dhikr & Closing
At the heart of our gathering is remembrance of Allah. Through gentle dhikr, we will realign our hearts with the One who heals and sustains.
