About this Event
CivicCon invites local faith leaders to a special luncheon workshop with Seth Kaplan, a leading expert on fragile states and author of Fragile Neighborhoods. This interactive session will explore the growing breakdown of American communities and, more importantly, what local leaders can do to reverse it.
Kaplan’s work highlights the critical role that strong local institutions and social ties play in helping communities thrive. Faith communities are central to this effort, providing essential relationships, trust and support networks that strengthen neighborhoods from the ground up.
This small group workshop is designed as a shared learning experience. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the real challenges they are seeing in their congregations and communities, exchange ideas with peers and explore practical strategies for building stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
Seth Kaplan will also be delivering a free public CivicCon presentation in Pensacola on Tuesday, April 14 (Register for that here). This luncheon offers a more focused setting for faith leaders to engage directly with the ideas from Fragile Neighborhoods and apply them to their work.
Join us for a meaningful conversation about how faith leaders can help rebuild the social fabric that keeps our communities strong. Lunch will be provided.
