This creative art class introduces students to foundational drawing and painting skills through fun, fantasy-inspired projects and guided instruction. Using fairytales, magical settings, and imaginative characters as inspiration, students will learn how to turn ideas into artwork while building confidence in their artistic abilities.Throughout the course, students will practice important visual art skills including line work, shape recognition, shading, color mixing, composition, and creating depth within a scene. Step-by-step lessons will guide students as they create artwork inspired by castles, enchanted forests, dragons, fairies, and other fantasy-themed subjects.
Students will explore a variety of materials including drawing tools, watercolor, paint, and mixed media while completing structured, age-appropriate projects designed to encourage creativity and artistic growth.
