This hands-on LEGO engineering class introduces students to foundational building and design concepts through fun, guided construction challenges. Students will use LEGO materials to explore how structures are built while developing problem-solving, planning, and creative thinking skills in a structured classroom environment.
Throughout the course, students will complete age-appropriate building activities focused on concepts such as balance, stability, symmetry, structure, and simple engineering principles. Projects may include bridges, towers, simple machines, and other creative building challenges designed to encourage critical thinking and teamwork.
Each session includes step-by-step instruction, guided building practice, testing, and opportunities to improve designs through observation and experimentation. Students will learn how different building choices affect strength and stability while gaining confidence in their design abilities.
This is a structured instructional enrichment class focused on foundational engineering, spatial reasoning, and hands-on learning through LEGO-based construction activities.
