Fae Hause

For 2 days only a portal has ripped through time and space creating an entrance to Fairyland. Will you take a chance and enter? Fae Hause is an immersive gallery exhibit made by a small team of artists with recycled materials donated by Seattle e-recycling and theater orgs. 

Walk through a portal of time and space into an enchanted forest. Visit the homes of it’s inhabitants; participate in the fairy customs and games throughout the exhibit. Sneak into a witch’s hut and practice with their ingredients, or crawl through a monster’s mouth to their underbelly. Perhaps you yearn to see through a frog or raven’s eyes? Or maybe it’s your chance to sit and meditate in a mushroom circle, despite the dangers. This and many more adventures await.

A midsummer night’s dream only lasts so long, catch it before it disappears. 5200 sq ft is no joke to cast a glamour on. A dream like this might only reappear if folks are willing to take a fairy risk.

Spend some time in the forest; making art, memories and friends. With recycled materials all around, one must wonder what will be the realistic future of nature, and what is the present when it comes to sustainability in the arts. Fae Hause not only utilizes this build and space to create connections among community orgs to borrow and recycle amongst each other, avoiding trashing or double purchasing. In addition,  Recycled electronics, e-use building materials orgs, and smaller theaters have volunteered materials for this exhibition. Each exhibit will live on in selected sponsor areas, or approved child care centers for further community use after the event. Because of the parking and cost per ticket this is an opportunity for low income and young people to expierence hands on art that will make them think.
