About this Event
Facial Recognition Comedy (FRC) is a nationally touring stand-up show featuring female-identifying performers of MENASA (Middle Eastern, North African, & South Asian) descent. The show was created as a response to tokenism and underrepresentation in entertainment, and to let everyone know that we are NOT the same person!
FRC has had bicoastal residencies in NYC and LA, and was listed by The New York Times as one of the top 5 shows they were most excited to see at the NYC Comedy Festival. The show has also been mentioned in Deadline, Daily Beast, Vulture, Screen Rant, Backstage, and more.
Facial Recognition Comedy is executive-produced and hosted by comedians Fizaa Dosani, Zahra Ali, and Pallavi Gunalan. With guests Reem Edan, Dauood Naimyar, Aparna Nancherla, and more!
