We are excited to be hosting another workshop from Nicolas Carillo of ‘Saved and Made’. Nick specialises in making practical and beautiful items from reclaimed materials using vintage sewing machines.In this workshop you will learn how to make your own notebook from recycled fabrics. You will learn how to cut, and sew together material using a vintage sewing machine. All tools, equipment and materials are provided as well as expert tuition.
To complete the notebook please expect to work throughout the allotted time (other than breaks for refreshments and lunch). and please bring lunch with you. Tea and biscuits will be available.
At the end of the session, you will have a unique, handmade covered notebook for yourself or as a gift.
No prior experience is required in using a sewing machine.
