Come and create your very own unique leather foraging pouch. It’s up to you what you use it for!You will have a choice of a variety of colours of soft calf or oiled leathers and learn all the skills involved in cutting out, punching holes and stitching your pouch. You will learn how to punch, stitch and finish the leather and attach your own popper fastening that can attach your pouch to a belt.
All tools and materials are provided. The course is taught by local leather-worker, Jeanette Tonks, who has been running workshops for Scout group leaders over the past 2 and a half years.
Suitable for complete beginners as a full demonstration and step by step guidance will be given throughout the day. This course is aimed at adults but older teenagers are welcome to attend (ages 14 and up).
To complete the pouch please expect to work throughout the allotted time (other than a break half way through for refreshments). Tea and biscuits will be available.
This is a fantastic experience to form your own leather pouch with your choice of design, colour and stitching.
If you are buying this as a present then gift vouchers are available. Please purchase a ticket and then get in touch with what name/details you would like on the voucher. Thank you.
