Drone enthusiasts of all ages are invited to attend the FAA Drone Safety Day event at the Lansing Community College (LCC) West Campus on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Register to attend: https://direc.to/o6rD
Learn from industry experts and LCC Drone Program faculty. Participants will improve their skills and knowledge with hands-on drone safety activities and learn piloting techniques. Those of age will also have the opportunity to take the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST), an FAA certificate required for recreational flyers.
Morning activities: Engage with industry experts as they share insights and best practices in small Uncrewed Autonomous Systems (sUAS) drone safety and how these are utilized within our community.
Afternoon activities: Take to the skies and experience the thrill of flying drones firsthand!
