Spend a day exploring the woodlands at RHS Garden Rosemoor, including several areas not normally open to the public. RHS Garden Rosemoor owns and manages extensive woodlands, including coniferous woods, and mixed deciduous and distinctive Atlantic rainforests. During late April and May, the bluebell woods are at their peak, the trees have fresh new leaves, and it is a great time of year to see the woodlands. There is the chance to visit different areas of woodland that are part of the wider Rosemoor grounds. The morning will be spent on the Visitor Centre side of Rosemoor, then after a picnic lunch, weโll head over to Lady Anneโs Garden to see the bluebells and then via the Arboretum to the semi-ancient natural woodlands beyond.
During the course of the day, weโll be walking several miles. In each area, youโll learn more about the tree species and wildlife that lives there.
