About this Event
Exploring Architecture: Drawing Matter
Thursday 5th March 2026, 2pm-3.30pm
Join RIBA Learning for a visit to Drawing Matter. Drawing Matter is a charitable trust that explores the role of drawing in architectural thought and practice, through workshops for students and practitioners, public events, exhibitions, and publications, both physical and digital. Central to their activities is the Drawing Matter Collection of many thousands of architectural and design drawings from across the world, dating from the Renaissance to the present day.
Join us for a unique opportunity to engage closely with the Drawing Matter collection of architectural drawings. The workshop will aim to activate the collection through observation and discussion, looking at materials relating to the City of London and beyond.
This event is for anyone aged 55 or over that has an interest in discovering more about architecture, with a chance for discussion. Free, please book a place.
Exploring Architecture is a monthly free event exploring areas of architectural interest around London, usually on the first Thursday of the month. Each month will take a different format, including tours, creative activities and special insights into the RIBA Collections with an opportunity to socialise.
