Volva Stav WI Northern Traditions Class--Foundation 101
Join us for an exciting online event presented by Amanda Lonsdorf and Bethany Jacobson members of the Volva Stav Guild. Discover the wisdom of Northern Traditions in this exploration of our Foundation 101 class. This Exploratory Class is only $10! Additional classes in the series will be $30.
NEW! We will bring this class to a wider audience via zoom this year! Ticket holders will be emailed a link to a zoom call.
We will cover the core concepts of Volva Stav and other Northern Traditions as well as an overview of the full 6 months of classes with the hopes of connecting with those who are interested in continuing the study of Volva Stav and using these tools to incorporate this work into their own life.
This six-part series of classes will be sharing the Völva Stav Tradition and other Northern Path information, healing lore, Folkways, and reconstructed historical traditions. Our class sessions will include the study of the Völva Stav Manual by Kari Tauring, originator of the Völva Stav Method. This includes the exercises, vocalizations, singing, staving and the study of the runes and other Nordic historical references. Norse myth and metaphysics will also be explored.
Upcoming Classes will be held from 10:30am to 12pm on December 21, 2024 , January 18, February 15, March 15. April 19 and May 17, 2025. Each class will cost $30

About the Presenters:
Völva Bethany Jacobson--Bethany dove deeply into family and ancestor healing and cultural practice in 2010. Studying with the originator of the Völva Stav method, Kari Tauring. Bethany was initiated into teaching Völva Stav in 2014 and began teaching classes in Wisconsin. She is a founding member of the Völva Stav Guild, a cultural healing cooperative, Nordic Womens* Retreats and Völva Stav Wisconsin.
Völva Amanda Lonsdorf--Supporting and fostering community and individual growth is a key part of Amanda's work as a Volva. Her gifts are helping people to reconnect and express their inner world and soul parts using the tools of guided self reflection, vocalization, artistic expression, meditation, cognitive behavioral techniques, connection to nature, family, and ancestors.
