Join us for a rare and illuminating two-weekend lecture series with Prof. Georgios Halkias, Director of the Centre of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hong Kong.
Through three insightful topics, Prof. Halkias will guide participants into the rich, symbolic, and esoteric dimensions of Tibetan Buddhism — from sacred imagery to the profound dynamics of Vajrayana practice.

Whether you're new to Buddhism, a seasoned practitioner, or simply curious, this is a unique chance to learn directly from one of the leading scholars in the field.



What You’ll Explore
🌄 Topic 1: Forms of the Formless — The Story of Buddhism through Visual Representation (Iconography)

Prof. Georgios Halkias is a leading scholar of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism and the Director of the Centre of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hong Kong.
He has published widely on Buddhist philosophy, iconography, and meditation traditions, and has taught and supervised students around the world.

His work blends rigorous academic insight with deep sensitivity to lived Buddhist practice — making this lecture series accessible, enriching, and transformative for learners at all levels.
