About this Event
Join us for an afternoon exploring the intersection of dance and drawing, featuring a live movement artist as model. This month we will be joined by 2 incredible dancers from Whacking Scotland.
Tickets are free but capacity is limited—please register below.
Artists of any skill level are welcome, however the session will be largely self-guided. We will have a small selection of materials on hand, but please BYO sketchbook and preferred art supplies. Please note that models will be fully clothed throughout the session.

Whacking Scotland is a Scotland-based dance community interested in sharing, preserving, and growing the art and culture of punking, posing, and whacking.
Punking, later commonly adapted and referred to as Whacking, is a style that emerged in the 1970s in underground gay clubs in LA pioneered by people of colour. It is distinctive through attitude/behaviour/storytelling, posing (inspired by black and white movies) and striking with force (whacking).
