Singing, inspiring talks, poems, reflections, chats, community, tea and cake - that's Sunday Assembly!A tale of two travellers. Come join us this St David's day for an intertwined story of two Welsh travellers born centuries apart who may or may not have crossed the Atlantic: Prince Madoc and John Evans. Part myth, part ripping yarn, part astonishing true story. Told by Sunday Assembly Brighton's Gareth Dee, who described himself as mostly harmless, a storyteller, improviser (lapsed) and works in pensions so you don't have to. Gareth is a great supporter of Sunday Assemblies around the world and we are looking forward to welcoming him to Edinburgh.
There will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting. Let's celebrate this amazing life together. You can help us, particularly if you're a first-timer, by reserving your place(s) at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-tale-of-two-travellers-a-sunday-assembly-event-tickets-1982676077520.
