Experienced Police Officer In-Person CPS Recruiting Information Session

To qualify as an experienced officer, you must:Have served a minimum of two years with an approved Canadian police agency, including the completion of basic training.

-you must not have been away from a sworn police officer position for more than two continuous years.

-Be in good standing with a Canadian federal, provincial, municipal or First Nations police service whose training and minimum standards are equivalent to that of the CPS.

-this excludes Military Police, Sheriffs, Highway Patrol, Corrections, Bylaw, Transit Police, CBSA and Railway Police (CPKC and CN Rail)

Please bring proof of service the day of which will be required for admission.
