A special film event to launch the Cambridge Festival 2026. The screening will be hosted by the Evolution of Horror podcast team. Join us for a screening of Ex Machina, with Q & A hosted by the Evolution of Horror podcast. The post film discussion will be joined by Professor Stephen Cave. Stephen is Academic Director of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI) and Co-Director of the Institute for Technology and Humanity, both at the University of Cambridge.

A young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in synthetic intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a highly advanced humanoid A.I.
